Slept great and woke up on schedule to go to Annapolis for our 5 mile walk. Found parking very easily and started our walk in beautiful downtown Annapolis. Decided to try and walk through the Naval Academy so we walked (snuck) up on a guard and he was so startled, he yelled at us to leave his post. Not sure what to do, we just walked around the town.
Next was a walking tour of the Navel Academy. Very impressive and on even par with Duke! I only took one picture which i think is the most impressive thing about the Academy; the oath these kids take to preserve the freedoms some of us take for granted-I do not! Freedom is not FREE. Rushed back to KOA to get ready to leave by very strict 12 pm departure time (we were 1 hour late and Jen got yelled at). On to Harrisonburg, VA to see our Abba of course through traffic once again. Luckily, I had my co pilot Dora to help guide the way. Got a legit thumbs up from 2 motorcycles and I did not even cut them off.
We arrived and parked the Flag in a lot Abby had reserved for us because it is #Gameday weekend at JMU. Got settled, and off to the store where we loaded up on beer, beer, beer, champagne, oh and some snacks for the big tailgate party starting at 6 AM Saturday. Loaded Jeep up to get in reserved spot.
Next was out to Abby's favorite dinner, Outback Steak House. We took Abby, Spez, Sabs, Alison, and a few of there somewhat close friends to streak and lobster! We had to call it an early night because as spez said, its going to be a big day tomorrow. We even had Al's Steak Sauce as a special treat.
Shout out to Marlo for her 39th Birthday, Sabs for getting a 90 on her test (4th years a charm-5th will even be better!). This is a short post because tomorrow should prove to be a very long and detailed one with everything going on!
BTW, Abby got me the nicest Birthday presents and a cool sign i hung up in the RV. Glad to be hanging back in college.
