Michigan to Wisconsin

Woke up and did some "work" before our walk.  We found a cool recreation area with a 5.8 mile hike just north of our campground.   Then we were off to meet my sister Juanita for Lunch.   We ate lunch in a converted church where you sit on the pews as a booth.  Really cool.  It was great to see her and meet her boyfriend Charles and his two children.  There house is amazing.  We jumped back in the Flag and grabbed two blocks of cheese from the farm that let us park in town and off we went.

This was our longest drive so far.  We wanted to make it Madison WI but came up 60 miles short finding another Walmart to overnight in.   Along the way, we lost headlights and had to stop to figure it out (which i did).  Having some running light issues which is the story of my light towing trailers all the time.  I am hoping to have time to address today.   We ate cheese for dinner and we did not cut into thin slices but decided to cut into chunks and eat like a mouse would eat it.  Much easier and way less prep work (This is part of my stand up routine I have been working on).

Our propane gauge reads full but we thought we were out because heat sopped working but we figured out and had heat last night.  I told Jen without heat, we will have to both get naked and under covers to stay warm to survive.  She made me fix the heat!  I think we are going to head to Madison to do our 5 mile walk and then we are pushing for South Dakota to see Mount Rushmore before the faces are torn down because of something they did in the past.

By the way, I forgot to mention that I received an A+ for my drinking with Caitlin and John the other night!  Oh, and my wine club in Napa did not burn and are re-opening tomorrow so we are hoping to visit.  I am thinking my wine is appreciating in my cellar as Napa is in big trouble.

NO soda spills yet and Jen drove for 2+ hours yesterday.
